Juliette's Birthday

On Saturday we celebrated Juliette's 6th Birthday.  She wanted a pizza party.  All the children made their own pizza.  I think everyone had fun.  About 16 children came.  I got worried after I invited everyone with how it was going to work.  But the kids were great and didn't really need help. What a relief!  It was a fun party!

LuLu our rabbit likes to babysit the kittens when Cookie, the mother, takes a break.  Lulu is so sweet and the two kittens are so cute and getting big.

April 2008

This is Lulu the "Easter Bunny".  Carol made the outfit and put together the shot.  I never know what pictures are going to show up on my camera when I down load.  It's always a surprise.
Cookie (our cat) had two kittens.  We were all very surprised.  The kids are having such a good time with them.  Carol especially loves all her animals and takes very good care of them.  I never have to remind her to feed them.  Good thing, because I wouldn’t remember!  She loves animals.  She and I have been walking most mornings at 5:30am.  I have been wanting to exercise and she always reminds me to go, so that helps.  It also gives us a chance to talk, so I really enjoy it.

Major is busy with cub scouts and flag football.  He caught two interceptions last game and make a touch down both times.  It was their teams first win!  He is such a responsible boy!  I just tell him what to do and he gets it done!  He is getting really good on the piano.  He makes up stories, poems and songs all the time.  He reads constantly and always tells us something interesting that he learned.  He loves “Popular Science” magazine and “National Geographic Kids”.  He reads “The Friend”, “The New Era”, and “Guideposts Magazine” cover to cover the day we get them!   His sisters are also very proud of him and love him very much!

Lucy loves to dance!  Almost everyday she turns on the ipod and makes up dances for hours.  They are actually really good.  She is getting a little better about keeping her room clean and getting ready in the morning.  She is looking forward to getting baptized.  She is a very loving and sweet girl.

Juliette is as funny as ever.  The other day she sang to the fireplace (she could see her reflection) for about an hour, all the “Hairspray” songs, with actions.  She didn’t know most of the words so she just made up stuff, but she definitely had the melodies down.  It was so funny watching her.  She is so dramatic and quite the performer!  She makes us laugh all the time!  She is doing better in school and is really sweet.
